Kang Hoon (Kang Hoon), born on May 23, 1991, in Gunsan, is a South Korean actor. After earning a degree in theater and film from Suwon University, he began his career in short films before gradually making a name for himself on television.
After appearing in several web dramas, he notably appeared in Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung in 2019 and Meow, the Secret Boy in 2020. His career took on a new dimension in 2021 with The Red Sleeve, in which he plays Hong Deok-ro. His performance earned him, among other honors, the Best New Actor award at the MBC Drama Awards.
He continues his rise with Little Women In 2022, he played the role of Ha Jong-ho, and then went on to star in two major projects in 2023: The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, in which he plays Kim Si-yeol, and A Time Called You, in which he plays Jung In-kyu alongside Ahn Hyo-seop and Jeon Yeo-been.
In 2024, Kang Hoon plays one of the lead roles in Dear Hyeri (To My Haeri), in which he plays Kang Joo-yeon. He then switched gears with the thriller Hunter with a Scalpel in 2025, playing the role of Jung Jeong-hyeon.
In 2026, he co-stars in the romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss (My bias, my boss) with Kim Hye-jun. In it, he plays Kang Ha-gi, one of the main characters.
Kang Hoon is also set to appear in several projects, including The Beginning, in which he will play Kang Tae-gu, as well as the historical drama Secret Memoirs of the Suseong Palace, scheduled for 2027, in which he will play Crown Prince Yi Hyang.
