The Story

Hae-jo (Woo Do-hwan) has always grown up feeling like he didn’t truly belong to any family, as his biological father remains unknown. When he receives news that abruptly upends his future, he decides to set out in search of his roots and find the man who might be his real father.

His trip takes an unexpected turn when he runs into Cho Jae-mi (Lee Yoo-mi), his ex-girlfriend. Jae-mi has always dreamed of starting a family, and is about to marry Eo Heung, the heir to a powerful family in the food industry. But behind this marriage lie lies and a situation far more complicated than it seems. On the day of the ceremony, Jae-mi disappears with Hae-jo and finds herself swept up in his journey.

Amid reunions, past wounds, absurd situations, and a search for identity, their journey forces them to confront what they have lost, what they truly desire, and the time they have left to find their place in the world.
