Mai 1995 in Yongin in der Provinz Gyeonggi geboren wurde. Seit 2012 ist er Mitglied der Gruppe BTOB und baute sich schnell eine parallele Karriere als Schauspieler auf, wodurch er zu einem der bekanntesten Idole im Fernsehen wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Er hat einige Gastauftritte in <em>Monstar<\/em>, <em>Die Erben<\/em> oder <em>Reply 1994<\/em> bevor er eine erste bedeutende Rolle in <em>Plus Nine Boys<\/em> im Jahr 2014, in dem er die Rolle des Kang Min-gu spielte. Seine Popularit\u00e4t stieg 2015 stark an, als <em>Who Are You: School 2015<\/em>. Darin spielt er Gong Tae-kwang, einen rebellischen und sympathischen Gymnasiasten \u2013 eine Rolle, die ihn beim Drama-Publikum bekannt macht. Im selben Jahr schl\u00e4gt er mit dem Mystery-Thriller v\u00f6llig neue T\u00f6ne an <em>The Village: Achiaras Geheimnis<\/em>, in dem er die Rolle des Polizisten Park Woo-jae spielt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Jahr 2016 erhielt er eine seiner bekanntesten Rollen in <em>Goblin<\/em>. Darin spielt er Yoo Deok-hwa, einen exzentrischen und unberechenbaren Erben, der mit den beiden \u00fcbernat\u00fcrlichen Hauptfiguren verbunden ist. Der internationale Erfolg der Serie hat seinen Bekanntheitsgrad als Schauspieler erheblich gesteigert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nachdem er sich einige Jahre lang vor allem seinen musikalischen und fernsehbezogenen Aktivit\u00e4ten gewidmet hatte, kehrte er 2020 zur\u00fcck mit <em>Mystic Pop-up-Bar<\/em>. Er spielt Han Kang-bae, einen jungen Mann, der die seltsame F\u00e4higkeit besitzt, Menschen, die er ber\u00fchrt, dazu zu bringen, ihre Geheimnisse preiszugeben. Im Jahr 2022, nach seinem Wehrdienst, spielt er die Hauptrolle in <em>The Golden Spoon<\/em>, in dem er Lee Seung-cheon spielt, einen armen jungen Mann, der die M\u00f6glichkeit erh\u00e4lt, sein Schicksal mit dem eines wohlhabenden Erben zu tauschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Jahr 2025 bekr\u00e4ftigt Yook Sung-jae seine Vorliebe f\u00fcr das Fantastische mit <em>The Haunted Palace<\/em>.
