Elle commence sa carri\u00e8re tr\u00e8s jeune, d\u2019abord comme mannequin enfant, avant de se tourner vers la com\u00e9die. Elle appara\u00eet notamment dans la s\u00e9rie <em>The Land<\/em> et dans le film <em>My Little Bride<\/em> en 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elle gagne une importante notori\u00e9t\u00e9 en 2009 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la sitcom <em>High Kick Through the Roof<\/em>, dans laquelle elle interpr\u00e8te un personnage portant son propre nom. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, elle joue la jeune princesse Cheon-myeong dans <em>The Great Queen Seondeok<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2010, Shin Se-kyung confirme son statut d\u2019actrice principale avec <em>Baum mit tiefen Wurzeln<\/em> en 2011, o\u00f9 elle incarne So-yi. Elle poursuit avec <em>Fashion King<\/em> en 2012 et <em>When a Man Loves<\/em> en 2013. En 2015, elle tient le r\u00f4le d\u2019Oh Cho-rim dans la romance fantastique <em>A Girl Who Sees Smells<\/em>, puis celui de Boon-yi dans le drama historique <em>Sechs fliegende Drachen<\/em>. Ces deux performances lui valent plusieurs r\u00e9compenses aux SBS Drama Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elle encha\u00eene ensuite avec <em>The Bride of Habaek<\/em> en 2017, puis <em>Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me<\/em>. En 2019, elle interpr\u00e8te l\u2019historienne Goo Hae-ryung dans <em>Die Nachwuchs-Historikerin Goo Hae-ryung<\/em>, un r\u00f4le qui lui vaut le prix de la meilleure actrice aux MBC Drama Awards. Elle poursuit avec <em>Run On<\/em> en 2020, dans lequel elle joue la traductrice Oh Mi-joo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2023, Shin Se-kyung reprend le r\u00f4le de Tanya dans <em>Arthdal Chronicles: Das Schwert von Aramun<\/em>. L\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante, elle tient le premier r\u00f4le f\u00e9minin de <em>Den K\u00f6nig fesseln<\/em>, o\u00f9 elle incarne Kang Hee-soo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au cin\u00e9ma, elle appara\u00eet dans <em>Hindsight<\/em>, <em>R2B: Return to Base<\/em>, <em>Tazza: The Hidden Card<\/em> und <em>The Preparation<\/em>. En 2026, elle joue Chae Seon-hwa dans le film d\u2019espionnage <em>Humint<\/em>.
