Having grown up in Germany before returning to South Korea at the age of 10, she began her career in the entertainment industry at a very young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moon Ga-young began her acting career in 2006, appearing in numerous films and TV dramas as a child actress. After several years of experience, she landed her first leading role in 2014 in the romantic drama <em>Mimi<\/em>, before gaining recognition from an international audience thanks to <em>EXO Next Door<\/em> in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She continues her rise to fame with notable roles in <em>Don't Dare to Dream<\/em>, <em>Live Up to Your Name<\/em> and above all <em>Tempted<\/em> in 2018. Her portrayal of Choi Soo-ji, a complex and mysterious character, earned her the Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After <em>Welcome to Waikiki 2<\/em>, she reaffirms her status as a rising star with <em>Find Me in Your Memory<\/em> in 2020. But it was that same year that his career took on an international dimension thanks to <em>True Beauty<\/em>. Playing the role of Im Ju-gyeong, a high school student with insecurities who learns to love herself, Moon Ga-young has won over millions of fans and has become one of the must-watch new faces of romantic K-dramas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She then reveals a more mature side to her acting with <em>Link: Eat, Love, Kill<\/em> then <em>The Appeal of Love<\/em>, where her more realistic and melancholic performance was praised.
