She graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, where she studied in the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department. Her mother, Go Jae-suk, was a member of the musical duo Bunny Girls in the 1970s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She made her acting debut in 2014 in the independent film <em>Photo<\/em>, while she was still a student. Her interest in the field grew largely as a result of her participation in several short films directed by film students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After appearing in several roles in independent films, Jeon So-nee is drawing more attention with <em>Encounter<\/em> in 2018, in which she played Jo Hye-in. In 2020, she landed one of her first major television roles in <em>When My Love Blooms<\/em>, in which she plays the younger version of Yoon Ji-soo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2021, she played the lead role in <em>Scripting Your Destiny<\/em>, before continuing in 2023 with the historical drama <em>Our Blooming Youth<\/em>. In it, she plays Min Jae-yi, also known as Go Sun-dol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That same year, she appeared in the movie <em>Soulmate<\/em> alongside Kim Da-mi, playing the role of Go Ha-eun. In 2024, she took a completely different direction with the fantasy-horror series <em>Parasyte: The Grey<\/em>. In it, she plays Jeong Su-in, a young woman whose body is partially taken over by an alien parasite. Her performance earned her several nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, Jeon So-nee will star in two lead roles on Netflix. In <em>Melo Movie<\/em>, she plays Son Joo-a, a screenwriter, while in the thriller <em>As You Stood By<\/em>, she plays Cho Eun-su. She also appears in the final episodes of <em>Taxi Driver Season 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, she plays a supporting role in <em>If Wishes Could Kill<\/em>, in which she plays Kang Ha-young, also known as Haetsal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jeon So-nee is set to appear in several major projects in 2027. She is set to play one of the leading roles in <em>The Man Called H<\/em>, as well as that of Kong Hu-gyeong in <em>The Facade of Love<\/em>.
