Son of the television director <strong>Jung Eul-young<\/strong>, he began his television career in 2004 and gradually established himself as an actor capable of moving seamlessly from romance to thriller, comedy, and drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He first made a name for himself in 2004 in <strong><em>I'm Sorry, I Love You<\/em><\/strong>, in which he plays Choi Yune. After several roles in film and television, he became one of the leading stars of <strong><em>Time Between Dog and Wolf<\/em><\/strong> (2007), and then played Prince Ho-dong in <strong><em>Ja Myung Go<\/em><\/strong> (2009) and Kang Hyun-soo in <strong><em>Smile, You<\/em><\/strong> that same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of his most memorable roles came in 2013 with <strong><em>Cruel City<\/em><\/strong>, in which he plays Jung Shi-hyun, nicknamed \u00abDoctor\u2019s Son.\u00bb He goes on to star in <strong><em>Endless Love<\/em><\/strong> (2014), followed by the romance <strong><em>Falling for Innocence<\/em><\/strong> (2015), in which he plays Kang Min-ho. In 2016, he starred in <strong><em>One More Happy Ending<\/em><\/strong>, before playing Seo Jun-oh in <strong><em>Missing 9<\/em><\/strong> (2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His career entered a new and particularly notable phase with <strong><em>Prison Playbook<\/em><\/strong> (2017), in which he plays Lee Joon-ho, and then <strong><em>Life on Mars<\/em><\/strong> (2018), playing the role of police officer Han Tae-joo. In 2019, he played the dual roles of Ha Rip and Seo Dong-chun in <strong><em>When the Devil Calls Your Name<\/em><\/strong> and makes an appearance in <strong><em>Crash Landing on You<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between 2020 and 2021, Jung Kyung-ho plays a cardiothoracic surgeon <strong>Kim Jun-wan<\/strong> in both seasons of <strong><em>Hospital Playlist<\/em><\/strong>, one of his most popular roles. He actually reprises this character briefly in <strong><em>Resident Playbook<\/em><\/strong> in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023, he returns to romance with <strong><em>Crash Course in Romance<\/em><\/strong> (<em>One Shot Scandal \/ Love Make-Up<\/em>), where he plays <strong>Choi Chi-yeol<\/strong>, a renowned math professor. In 2024, he made appearances in <strong><em>Wedding Impossible<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>The Trunk<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The year <strong>2025<\/strong> is particularly demanding: he plays the lead role in <strong>No Mu-jin<\/strong> in <strong><em>Oh My Ghost Customers<\/em><\/strong>, and then the judge's <strong>Kang Da-wit<\/strong> in the legal drama <strong><em>Pro Bono<\/em><\/strong>. On the big screen, he also stars in <strong><em>Boss<\/em><\/strong> as Dong Gang-pyo and <strong><em>Galatea<\/em><\/strong>, in which he plays Wi Chi-chan\/AI Crisis Chan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His filmography dates back to the mid-2000s and includes, among others, <strong><em>Gangster High<\/em><\/strong> (2006), <strong><em>Herb<\/em><\/strong> (2007), <strong><em>Sunny<\/em><\/strong> (2008), <strong><em>Running Turtle<\/em><\/strong> (2009), <strong><em>Fasten Your Seatbelt<\/em><\/strong> (2013), <strong><em>Manhole<\/em><\/strong> (2014), <strong><em>Daemuga: Sorrow and Joy<\/em><\/strong> (2022) and <strong><em>Apgujeong Report<\/em><\/strong> (2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, <strong><em>A Bonus Romance<\/em><\/strong>, scheduled for <strong>2027<\/strong>, will see him return in a new leading role, that of <strong>Na I-jun<\/strong>.
