A graduate of the Department of Theater and Film at Dongguk University, she began her career in 1997 as a model after appearing on the cover of the magazine <em>This<\/em>. She went on to appear in numerous commercials, music videos, and television series before gradually establishing herself as a well-known actress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After appearing in several roles in dramas such as <em>Terms of Endearment<\/em>, <em>The Road Home<\/em> and <em>I Need Romance<\/em> (2011), she gained greater popularity thanks to <em>Lovers of Haeundae<\/em> (2012). In film, his career took a new turn with <em>The Servant<\/em> (2010), in which her portrayal of Chun-hyang earned her the Popular Star Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. She reaffirmed her talent in <em>The Concubine<\/em> (2012), and then in <em>Obsessed<\/em> (2014), for which she won the Best Supporting Actress Award from the Korean Association of Film Critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2019, Cho Yeo-jeong gained international fame for her role as Yeon-kyo in <em>Parasite<\/em>, Bong Joon-ho\u2019s film, which won the Palme d\u2019Or and then the Oscar for Best Picture. Her performance earned her the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Actress, while the entire cast received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She then continued her career in television with <em>The Woman Worth 9.9 Billion<\/em>, <em>Cheat on Me If You Can<\/em>, for which she won an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards, and then <em>High Class<\/em> in 2021. In 2024, she played the lead role of Ji-woo in the miniseries <em>Tarot<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, she joined the Disney+ series <em>Made in Korea<\/em> in the role of Bae Geum-ji and also appears in the films <em>Hidden Face<\/em>, <em>Murder Report<\/em> and <em>My Daughter Is a Zombie<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, she played Ahn Soo-jung in the series <em>Affairs Aren't the Only Secret<\/em> and also appears in movies <em>Possible Love<\/em> and <em>Revenger<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cho Yeo-jeong, who has received numerous awards throughout her career, is now considered one of the most talented actresses in South Korean film and television.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":6587,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true,"_sitemap_exclude":false,"_sitemap_priority":"","_sitemap_frequency":""},"class_list":["post-6586","acteur","type-acteur","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
