The moment that readers of the web novel know so well is finally beginning to take shape on screen. \u00ab The Remarried Empress<\/a> \u00bb (translated as \u00abThe Empress's Second Marriage\u00bb in French) has just unveiled a new poster and a teaser focused on the four characters who will forge and break imperial alliances: Shin Min-ah<\/a>, Ju Ji-hoon<\/a>, Lee Jong-suk<\/a> and Lee Se-young<\/a>. Amid infidelity, divorce, remarriage, and power struggles, the breakup between Navier and Sovieshu is now the focus of the first scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abThe Remarried Empress\u00bb is an adaptation of the popular web novel of the same name and will follow Navier (Shin Min-ah)<\/strong>, empress of the Eastern Empire, renowned for her impeccable performance in her role. Reigning alongside her is her husband Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon)<\/strong>. But their marriage begins to falter when Rashta (Lee Se-young)<\/strong> enters the emperor's life and gradually catches his attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Sovieshu approaches Rashta, another man appears alongside Navier: Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk), prince of the Western Empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than pleading with the emperor or trying to save their marriage, Navier agreed to his request for a divorce. However, she accompanied this decision with a request that completely turned the situation on its head: she asked that her remarriage to Heinrey also be approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
