Kim Soo-hyun seems to be gradually preparing for his return to the screen. A few months after announcing his return to work, the actor reunited with his Filipino fans in Manila and spoke directly to them about what they\u2019re probably most looking forward to: to see him again in a new drama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 2, Kim Soo-hyun<\/a> was at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila for the \u00abOur Forever with You\u00bb fan meeting, organized in partnership with the BENCH brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faced with this particularly large number of proposals, his agency has reportedly now conducted an initial screening and selected 3 or 4 projects<\/strong> considered the most serious options. No specific titles have been revealed yet, and no new cast members have been officially confirmed, but the genres and platforms under consideration already give an idea of the possibilities available to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the projects reportedly proposed to him are, in particular, a particularly dark thriller intended for Netflix<\/a> as well as a major production blending fantasy and action<\/strong>. Large-scale projects geared toward the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Kim Soo-hyun could also choose to make a comeback on Korean television. More traditional melodramas, as well as historical dramas focused on human stories and intended for major Korean networks, are also reportedly among the options currently being considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The choice, therefore, remains wide open: to return with a major production intended for global streaming, or to return to a style more akin to television melodramas, in which her emotional performance could take center stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the timeline for this return still involves another major unknown: \u00ab Knock-Off<\/a> \u00bb. The Disney+ series, which had already finished filming, remains on hold. According to MK Sports, its budget is reportedly around 60 billion won<\/strong>, amounting to several tens of millions of euros. Disney+ reportedly stated recently that there was \u00abno new information\u00bb regarding its programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The situation surrounding \u00abKnock-Off\u00bb could therefore play a role in the planning of Kim Soo-hyun\u2019s next project, although it is not yet possible to say when\u2014or even in what form\u2014the series will ultimately be released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important milestone in the legal proceedings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of a possible announcement regarding her next drama, another date has now been added to the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit October 15<\/strong>, the Seoul Central District Court is scheduled to hold the second pretrial hearing in the criminal trial of Kim Se-ui, a representative of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, who is being prosecuted on charges including defamation in the case involving Kim Soo-hyun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim Se-ui denies the charges against him. His request to be granted a trial with Furthermore, the court did not accept the participation of a jury of laypeople<\/a>.
