Licenciada en Arte Dram\u00e1tico por la Universidad de Kyonggi, debut\u00f3 en el cine en 2004 con un peque\u00f1o papel en <em>El amor, tan divino<\/em>. Durante varios a\u00f1os, fue apareciendo discretamente en diversas ocasiones, sobre todo en <em>Madre<\/em> de Bong Joon-ho y <em>Sunny<\/em>, antes de experimentar un ascenso espectacular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su carrera dio un giro en 2013, cuando interpret\u00f3 el papel protagonista del drama <strong>Han Gong-ju<\/strong> (<em>A capella<\/em>), inspirada en un suceso real. Su interpretaci\u00f3n, aclamada un\u00e1nimemente por la cr\u00edtica, le vali\u00f3 numerosos premios, entre ellos el prestigioso premio a la mejor actriz en los Blue Dragon Film Awards. A continuaci\u00f3n, confirm\u00f3 su inmenso talento en <em>The Wailing<\/em>, donde interpreta a la misteriosa Moo-myeong, y posteriormente en las pel\u00edculas <em>Un d\u00eda<\/em>, <em>Ancla<\/em> y <em>Desbloqueado<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En televisi\u00f3n, Cheon Woo-hee cautiva al p\u00fablico con su interpretaci\u00f3n de la guionista Im Jin-joo en <em>S\u00e9 melodram\u00e1tico<\/em> (2019), que se ha convertido en una serie de culto. A continuaci\u00f3n, protagoniza el thriller <em>Deliciosamente enga\u00f1oso<\/em> (<em>Fraude en beneficio propio<\/em>), la novela rom\u00e1ntica fant\u00e1stica <em>La familia at\u00edpica<\/em> y la s\u00e1tira social <strong>El espect\u00e1culo de los 8<\/strong>, ambas estrenadas en 2024 y muy bien acogidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2025, comparte cartel con <em>Mi juventud<\/em>, donde interpreta a Seong Je-yeon, recuperando un registro m\u00e1s \u00edntimo y emotivo.
