Variety shows

Want to see your favorite actors outside of their roles? This section is for you.

In South Korea, variety shows are a genre in their own right, and K-drama stars regularly appear on them. Whether they’re running a restaurant abroad, opening a hair salon in a remote village, going on a trip with friends, or taking on zany challenges, these shows present the actors in a more natural, funny, and spontaneous light.

We track the most anticipated shows, from their announcement to their premiere, including the cast, the first images, and where to watch them.
