Jin Se-yeon is a South Korean actress born Kim Yoon-jung on February 15, 1994. Before becoming an actress, she briefly trained to join the girl group Jewelry, then appeared in several commercials. She eventually turned to acting and made her television debut in 2010 in It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl.
In 2011, she appeared in The Duo and then landed her first leading role in My Daughter, the Flower. His career really took off in 2012 with Bridal Mask, in which she plays Oh Mok-dan. That same year, she also played the female lead in Five Fingers.
In 2014, she played Yoon Ok-ryun in Inspiring Generation, and then plays two characters, Song Jae-hee and Han Seung-hee, in the medical thriller Doctor Stranger. She continues with the romantic comedy High-End Crush in 2015.
In 2016, Jin Se-yeon played the lead role in the historical drama Flowers of the Prison, in which she plays Ok-nyeo. That same year, she appeared in the film Operation Chromite, alongside Lee Jung-jae and Liam Neeson. She then reaffirmed her affinity for historical dramas through Grand Prince in 2018, a series in which she plays Sung Ja-hyun.
In 2019, she played a criminal profiler in Item, and then plays several characters in the historical fantasy drama Queen: Love and War. In 2020, she starred alongside Born Again starring Jang Ki-yong and Lee Soo-hyuk, who play two women connected to two different eras.
After a four-year hiatus from dramas, she’s returning in 2024 with Bad Memory Eraser, in which she plays psychiatrist Kyung Joo-yeon. In 2026, she returns to a leading role in the family drama Recipe for Love, playing the role of Gong Joo-ah, a medical school graduate who became a fashion designer.
