The Story
The series is a project Korean-Japanese jointly produced by Dexter Pictures and Amuse Entertainment, and promises a story combining romantic comedy, fantasy and drama.
«Dive Into You» will follow Yoon Ha-na, a famous actress played by Kim Ji-yeon. Following an accident, her soul is mysteriously swapped with that of her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru, played by Jang Se-hyuk.
But this upheaval is only the beginning. The twins discover that a An old camcorder lets them travel back in time. A ability that could give them the chance to change a particularly painful event: the death of Jung Woo-jae, Ha-na's first love, played by Park Seo-ham. Ha-na and Ha-ru will then travel back in time and try to save the person who once played a vital role in their lives, even if it means risking their own.

Time travel will allow Yoon Ha-na and Yoon Ha-ru return to their younger days, but their goal won't simply be to relive their memories. They'll have to figure out what led to Woo-jae's death and try to change his fate.
The presence of the camcorder as a bridge between the two eras also raises several questions: To what extent will the twins be able to intervene in the past? And above all, what consequences will their decisions have on their present?
The drama blends body swap, time slip and romance, with a heroine ready to do anything to change the course of history.
An actress who struggles to understand her own emotions
Kim Ji-yeon plays Yoon Ha-na, an actress at the height of her career, renowned for the emotional power of her performances. Yet a paradox lies behind her talent. Once the cameras stop rolling, Ha-na suffers from emotional numbness that prevents her from accurately identifying her own feelings.

There is, however, one exception: Jung Woo-jae (Park Seo-ham), her bodyguard and first love, who has been by her side since their high school days. Without necessarily realizing it, it is with him that Ha-na is able to reveal her most sincere emotions.

The new photos perfectly illustrate the two sides of her life. In the present, she appears as a star accustomed to red-carpet events and constantly in the public eye. This stands in stark contrast to the 18-year-old Ha-na, who was still a high school student full of dreams.
A Second Chance to Prevent Woo-jae's Death
Everything changes when Jung Woo-jae Dies.

Devastated by the loss of the only person to whom she could truly open her heart, Ha-na revisits their memories through an old camcorder. The camcorder then becomes the key to an impossible event: she travels back in time to when she was 18 and Woo-jae was still alive.

Park Seo-ham, from Judo Prospect to Bodyguard
In the present, Jung Woo-jae is a reserved and exceptionally reliable bodyguard. He also possesses judo skills comparable to those of a national-level athlete.

This talent is no accident: in his youth, Woo-jae was himself considered a promising judoka. However, he had to give up the sport for a reason that has not yet been revealed.

The new photos capitalize on this development. In one of them, Park Seo-ham appears in a suit, exuding the calm, confident air of a professional tasked with Ha-na's security. In others, the character is seen wearing his judo uniform again during a competition in 2010.

This contrast should allow the drama to explore the events that led Woo-jae to give up his athletic dream, as well as how he eventually became the bodyguard of the woman he has loved since high school.
But for Ha-ru, saving his friend could mean give up the life he had dreamed of and had spent years building.
Jang Se-hyuk: From the Top of the Judo World to a Decision That Could Change Everything
In the present, however, Yoon Ha-ru seems to have everything he needs to be happy. Ranked world No. 1 in judo, he has as much talent as he does self-confidence.
Curious, eccentric, and quick-witted, the young man is also particularly beloved by the public. His attentiveness toward his fans has even earned him a reputation as the ’idol of the judo world.« His success extends beyond his athletic career. Ha-ru is also in a happy relationship with his girlfriend and seems to have found an enviable balance between success, love, and recognition.
However, everything falls apart with the sudden death of his close friend Jung Woo-jae.
This tragedy gradually transforms Ha-ru. When he and his twin sister discover that they can travel back in time, he sees a possibility he had thought impossible: to find Woo-jae before his death and try to change his fate.

Script playback
In the present, Yoon Ha-na is a star who suffers from emotional numbness and struggles to identify or express her own feelings. Kim Ji-yeon therefore worked on her voice to convey this apparent lack of emotion. But her performance changes completely when Ha-na goes back in time… in his twin brother's body.
In these scenes, the actress takes on a much more boisterous and expressive energy, already giving us a glimpse of the comedic potential of this situation.
Jang Se-hyuk will have to take the opposite route. He plays Yoon Ha-ru, Ha-na's twin brother, described as a bright and mischievous personality as well as a true star of the judo world.
When he finds himself in his sister’s body, the actor, in turn, completely changes his demeanor. During the table read, he used a series of more animated gestures to portray the mannerisms of a high school girl, offering a first glimpse of the body-swap scenes that are expected to provide much of the drama’s humor.
Facing the twins, Park Seo-ham plays Jung Woo-jae, Ha-na's first love—and, above all, the man whose tragic fate she already knows.
During the read-through, the actor relied on his gaze and various emotional nuances to convey Woo-jae’s cautious personality. His performance also evolves as the story moves through different time periods, since the drama will follow the character through several stages of his life.
This development will be key to understanding his relationship with Ha-na and why she is determined to change the past in order to save him.
Moon Seung-you In particular, she rounds out the quartet in the role of Seo Ye-rang, Ha-na’s older sister and Ha-ru’s girlfriend. A businesswoman with a strong personality, she is also one of the twins’ main sources of support and is expected to bring a much more direct energy to the group.
