The Final Table will feature a competition ("The table: K chef 2026") where top Korean chefs from around the world come together to prepare a feast of exceptional dishes to select the best Korean chef.
Ahn Hyo-seop will play Kang Han, a Korean chef living abroad. After an unexpected turn of events, he decides to enter this prestigious culinary competition as a representative of the Familia restaurant. He’ll face numerous competitors determined to win the title, including Cha Woo-jin, played by Chang Ryul.
Considered a culinary prodigy from a very young age, Cha Woo-jin is a perfectionist chef who thinks only of victory. His confrontation with Kang Han is expected to be one of the drama’s main driving forces. Beyond the kitchen, «Final Table» will also explore the characters’ personal relationships and emotional wounds. Hong Hwa-yeon will play Choi Song-yi, the maître d’ at the Familia restaurant. After her father’s disappearance, she tries to protect the family business—until she meets Kang Han, who could change her future.
Jung Yoo-jin, for her part, will play Seon Jung-won, the executive producer behind this major culinary competition.
One of the unique features of «Final Table» will be its hybrid format. The production team had previously explained that the competition would be staged like a real cooking show, giving viewers the impression that they are watching both a survival show and a drama.
