Ryeoun (려운), whose real name is Go Yoon-hwan (고윤환), is a South Korean actor born on August 26, 1998, in Jeonju. He made his television debut in 2017 in You're Too Much, and then appeared that same year in Temperature of Love. Her first roles in several web dramas, including Doo Teob's Pretty Easy School Life and Instant Romance, are gradually helping him stand out.
In 2019, he joined the cast of Doctor Prisoner in the role of Han Bit, before going on to star in several productions in 2020. Notably, he plays Detective Nam Soon-woo in 365: Repeat the Year, and then Hong Shi-woo in 18 Again, one of his first roles to really draw attention. He also appears in Samgwang Villa Lovers, in which he plays Lee Ra-hoon, as well as in web dramas IN-SEOUL and IN-SEOUL 2.
His career took on a new dimension in 2022 with Through the Darkness. Alongside Kim Nam-gil and Jin Seon-kyu, he plays Jeong Woo-joo in this thriller about South Korea's first criminal profilers. This performance earned him the award for Best New Actor.
In 2023, Ryeoun will finally take on leading roles. In the historical drama The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, he plays the mysterious Kang San. That same year, he enjoyed major success with Twinkling Watermelon, in which he plays Ha Eun-gyeol, a hearing high school student from a deaf family who travels back in time and meets his parents as teenagers. This role played a major role in boosting his popularity among international audiences. He also makes a brief appearance in The Game of Death.
It continues in 2024 with Namib, in which he plays Yoo Jin-woo, a young trainee who dreams of becoming a star. In 2025, he joins Weak Hero Class 2 as Park Hoo-min, also known as Ben Park, and also plays the lead role in History of Nerds.
In 2026, he reaffirmed his shift toward darker characters with Flower of Death, in which he plays Lee Woo-gyeom. He has also been cast in a leading role in Borrowed Body.
