Shin Jae-ha (Shin Jae-ha), born on April 2, 1993, in Suwon, is a South Korean actor and a graduate of Dankook University. Active since 2013, he has gradually made a name for himself in K-dramas thanks to supporting roles that are often more complex than they first appear.
He began to attract attention in 2014 in Pinocchio, in which he plays the teenage version of Ki Jae-myung. After Hello Monster, Sassy Go Go and Remember, Shin Jae-ha landed several notable roles in 2016, including in Memory, the thriller Wanted and especially the mini-drama Page Turner, in which he plays the pianist Seo Jin-mok. He then joined While You Were Sleeping in 2017 as Jung Seung-won, the younger brother of the prosecutor played by Lee Jong-suk, and then appeared in Prison Playbook.
In 2018, he explored a wide range of styles with A Poem a Day, The Ghost Detective and the historical melodrama The Hymn of Death. The following year, he starred in Welcome to Life and VIP, before landing one of the lead roles in 2020 in My Unfamiliar Family, in which he plays Kim Ji-woo, the youngest child in a family grappling with its unspoken issues.
After completing his military service, Shin Jae-ha made a particularly notable comeback in 2023. In Crash Course in Romance, he gives Ji Dong-hee a much more unsettling transformation than his appearance as a devoted secretary would suggest. He follows that up with Taxi Driver 2, in which his mysterious character, On Ha-jun, becomes one of the Rainbow Taxi team’s main adversaries. This performance earned him an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards. He rounded out this prolific year with the noir thriller Evilive (Biography of a Villain).
After an appearance in The Auditors and the special My Bra Strap Fell Down in 2024, Shin Jae-ha returns to the spotlight in 2026 with two romance novels: The Practical Guide to Love, in which he plays the lawyer Kang Do-hyeon, and Still Shining, in which he plays the lead role of Bae Seong-chan.
