Shin Su-hyun (Shin Soo-hyun), born on February 27, 1996, in Ulsan, is a South Korean actress who has gradually made a name for herself in K-dramas after appearing on several survival shows. Before devoting herself fully to acting, she appeared in MIXNINE in 2017 and then in Produce 48 in 2018.
She really got her start as an actress in 2019 in 9.9 Billion Women, in which she plays Ji Ha-na. In 2021, she gained more visibility thanks to Seen from a Distance, Green Spring, in the supporting role of Park Hye-ji.
The year 2023 marks an important milestone with After-School Duty, an adaptation of a webtoon in which she plays Cha So-yeon. She appears in both parts of the series and also starred that same year in Secret Playlist as well as to Park's Marriage.
In 2024, she joined the cast of My Sweet Mobster in a supporting role. But it was especially in 2025 that she began to play a more prominent role in K-dramas. She landed one of the lead roles in Study Group, in which she plays Lee Ji-woo. She also plays Lee Soo-bin in the long-running family drama Splendid Days and makes an appearance in Ms. Incognito Incognito. That same year, she also joined Cashero as Lee Su-eun, a researcher connected to characters with extraordinary abilities.
In 2026, Shin Su-hyun reprises her role as Lee Ji-woo in Study Group Season 2, cementing her place within the franchise. She also appears in Delusion, in which she plays Eun-chae.
With a filmography that blends school-based series, fantasy, action, and romance, Shin Su-hyun is one of those actresses whose career developed gradually before she landed more prominent roles, thanks in particular to After-School Duty and above all Study Group.
