So Joo-yeon (소주연), born on December 31, 1993, in Seoul, is a South Korean actress and model. She began her career in modeling and advertising before turning to acting, where her natural presence and very spontaneous acting style quickly helped her stand out.
She landed her first roles in web dramas such as Not Alright, But It’s Alright, and then appears in My Healing Love and I Hate Going to Work. His career took a major turn in 2020 with Dr. Romantic 2, in which she plays Yoon Ah-reum, an enthusiastic and endearing young doctor at Doldam Hospital. Much loved by audiences, she reprises the role in Dr. Romantic 3 in 2023.
That same year, 2020, So Joo-yeon took on several major projects. She played Seo Rin-yi in Lovestruck in the City, alongside Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won, and then played the lead role of Shin Sol-i in A Love So Beautiful, a Korean remake of the famous Chinese drama.
