Jung Kyung-ho (정경호) is a South Korean actor born on August 31, 1983, in Gwangmyeong, in Gyeonggi Province. Son of the television director Jung Eul-young, he began his television career in 2004 and gradually established himself as an actor capable of moving seamlessly from romance to thriller, comedy, and drama.
He first made a name for himself in 2004 in I'm Sorry, I Love You, in which he plays Choi Yune. After several roles in film and television, he became one of the leading stars of Time Between Dog and Wolf (2007), and then played Prince Ho-dong in Ja Myung Go (2009) and Kang Hyun-soo in Smile, You that same year.
One of his most memorable roles came in 2013 with Cruel City, in which he plays Jung Shi-hyun, nicknamed «Doctor’s Son.» He goes on to star in Endless Love (2014), followed by the romance Falling for Innocence (2015), in which he plays Kang Min-ho. In 2016, he starred in One More Happy Ending, before playing Seo Jun-oh in Missing 9 (2017).
His career entered a new and particularly notable phase with Prison Playbook (2017), in which he plays Lee Joon-ho, and then Life on Mars (2018), playing the role of police officer Han Tae-joo. In 2019, he played the dual roles of Ha Rip and Seo Dong-chun in When the Devil Calls Your Name and makes an appearance in Crash Landing on You.
Between 2020 and 2021, Jung Kyung-ho plays a cardiothoracic surgeon Kim Jun-wan in both seasons of Hospital Playlist, one of his most popular roles. He actually reprises this character briefly in Resident Playbook in 2025.
In 2023, he returns to romance with Crash Course in Romance (One Shot Scandal / Love Make-Up), where he plays Choi Chi-yeol, a renowned math professor. In 2024, he made appearances in Wedding Impossible and The Trunk.
The year 2025 is particularly demanding: he plays the lead role in No Mu-jin in Oh My Ghost Customers, and then the judge's Kang Da-wit in the legal drama Pro Bono. On the big screen, he also stars in Boss as Dong Gang-pyo and Galatea, in which he plays Wi Chi-chan/AI Crisis Chan.
His filmography dates back to the mid-2000s and includes, among others, Gangster High (2006), Herb (2007), Sunny (2008), Running Turtle (2009), Fasten Your Seatbelt (2013), Manhole (2014), Daemuga: Sorrow and Joy (2022) and Apgujeong Report (2022).
Finally, A Bonus Romance, scheduled for 2027, will see him return in a new leading role, that of Na I-jun. Having begun his career in 2004, Jung Kyung-ho has distinguished himself through his long-standing career and several iconic roles, notably Jung Shi-hyun in Cruel City, Lee Joon-ho in Prison Playbook, Han Tae-joo in Life on Mars, Kim Jun-wan in Hospital Playlist and Choi Chi-yeol in Crash Course in Romance.
