Im Chul-soo (임철수) Lim Cheol Soo, also known as Lim Cheol Soo, is a South Korean actor born on August 22, 1984. He began his career in 2004 in the theater scene on Daehak-ro in Seoul, after studying theater and film at Dankook University. For more than ten years, he performed primarily on stage, in both plays and musicals.
He gradually began appearing on television in the mid-2010s, with appearances in Reply 1988, Six Flying Dragons and Signal. He continues with Mr. Sunshine and Your Honor in 2018, before gaining recognition for her role as Park Su-chan in Crash Landing on You.
Im Chul-soo went on to become a regular in hit K-dramas. He played Ahn Gi-seok in Vincenzo, and then Teacher Lee in both parts of Alchemy of Souls. It also appears in Today's Webtoon and Gyeongseong Creature. In 2024, he took on one project after another with Queen of Tears, My Sweet Mobster, A Virtuous Business and When the Phone Rings.
His career continues with Unknown Seoul and Spirit Fingers in 2025, and then How can I express this love?, Miss Hong's Mission and Perfect Crown in 2026. He has also been announced as part of the cast of Grand Galaxy Hotel for 2027.
Active in both film and theater, Im Chul-soo is best known for his supporting roles, who have often appeared in some of South Korea's most popular productions in recent years.
