In 21st-century South Korea, ruled by a constitutional monarchy, Seong Hee-ju (IU) is the youngest daughter of a powerful chaebol family. Beautiful, brilliant and extremely competitive, she seems to have it all... except royal blood. While this hasn't bothered her up until now, her commoner status is gradually starting to close doors.
It was then that she crossed paths with the prince Yian (Byeon Woo-seok), the king's second son. Although he holds a prestigious title, Yian is entitled to nothing. Invisible to the world, he lives in seclusion... until he meets Hee-Ju, who changes both their destinies.

I loved this series.
A beautiful love story, a modern and determined heroine facing a hero who is all restraint except when it comes to protecting those he loves!
Great chemistry between the two. And secondary characters who are irresistibly charming, funny and wicked! Everything you need to have a good time!
As a fan of both actors, I couldn't resist watching this excellent series 😉🫰🇰🇷🫰🌹
Super romantic Kdrama! The cast is great, from the leads to the secondary characters. The cinematography is also magnificent. The OST is also top-notch.
I hope I'll be able to see it again later, that it won't have been censored because of the errors in episode 11. It's first and foremost fiction. I hope they correct the scenes that bother them and don't deprive us of this Kdrama. Thanks to Kdrama Kopi who recommended it. 🫰
The cast is fine, but product placement is omnipresent. The strengths are few and far between, and are concentrated on the aesthetics: whether it's the interior and exterior sets, or the modern costumes, hanboks . As for the palace plot and the romance, you'll have to be very patient. We're supposed to be sold a dream, but the first half of the drama is a narrative nightmare. Perfect Crown doesn't start out as a love story, but as a marriage that's more akin, at first, to a merger and acquisition. So the chemistry is totally fictitious. The film plays on the beauty of the 2 actors, who are over-the-top in their narcissism. One of the biggest flaws is that there's zero suspense, as everything is pretty much unpacked in the first 3 episodes. The only salvageable sequence in the first half is the urban night rodeo, which is short but thrilling enough. The pace is non-existent, with one pointless sequence following another in rapid succession. It's got to be eye-catching, so it's got to be shiny and eye-catching . Halfway through the seventh episode, the drama finally takes off with its first twist. Without spoiler, the story is going to revolve around the theme of romantic karma, but it's so poorly delivered that everything is predictable, overplayed and feels like an empty shell or a luxury knock-off. Halfway through the drama, there's still no suspense, no credible antagonist, but above all no romantic magic. And why are the supporting characters treated so summarily?
I loved the whole drama the main characters and the secondary ones the story everything was top
Without Byeon Wooseok playing the male lead I wouldn't have watched it. The cast is great, everyone is excellent but something was off or missing. I liked the plot which was good but predictable. It's a good kdrama but it's not memorable
