Noh Sang-hyun (Noh Sang-hyun), also known as Steve Sanghyun Noh, born on July 19, 1990, is a South Korean actor and model. Having spent part of his childhood in Boston, in the United States, he attended Babson College before beginning his career as an actor and model.
Noh Sang-hyun made his film debut in the mid-2010s, notably in Seoul Searching. He then appeared in several productions and short films, as well as in web series such as We Are Peaceful Brothers, in which he plays Lee Yoon, and then XX, Fight Hard, Love Harder Season 2 and Three Hundred Years Old, 20 Students.
His career took on an international dimension in 2022 thanks to Pachinko. In the series, Noh Sang-hyun plays Baek Isak, a role he reprises in the second season in 2024. The series marks a major turning point in his career, and its cast won the 2023 Independent Spirit Award for Best Ensemble Cast. That same year, he also appeared in Curtain Call as Ri Moon-sung and in Behind Every Star, in which he plays Lee Sang-wook.
In 2023, Noh Sang-hyun plays the lead role of Ji Su-ho in the romance Soundtrack #2. It continues in 2024 with My Military Valentine, in which he plays John Kim. That same year also marked a major milestone in his film career with Love in the Big City. In the role of Jang Heung-soo, he co-stars with Kim Go-eun and has won several awards, including the Best New Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
In 2025, he joined Genie, Make a Wish (Wishes for a Genius) in the dual role of Ryu Su-hyeon / Ejlael. In 2026, he went on to star in Perfect Crown, in which he plays Min Jeong-woo. He was then announced as the lead in Gold Digger, scheduled for 2027, in which he is set to play Jung Jae-hui.
Alongside his work in television, Noh Sang-hyun continues his film career. After Love in the Big City, as is mentioned in the film, among other things Messily Ever After (Byeoljit), in which he plays the lead role of Hyun-tae.
