The story plunges us into the intertwined destinies of Ka Young (played by Suzy), a cold, detached young woman, and Genie (Kim Woo-bin), an enigmatic spirit locked away in a magic lamp for over 1,000 years. When she accidentally discovers the ancient object, Ka Young unwittingly awakens this unusual genie, who promises to grant her 3 wishes that will turn her life upside down.
But there's no classic fairy-tale formula here. Genie is no simple miracle-worker: he introduces himself as "Iblis", a name associated in some traditions with the figure of the devil. As soon as she wakes up, he tells her in a disturbing tone: "I will cross the world to find you. Remember my name: Iblis." A statement that opens the door to a complex and fascinating relationship between the mystical and the emotionally locked Ka Young.

I really didn't get into it. I only got to the end for the genie and the panther.
I really have trouble with Bae Suzy 🫤 I had already stopped a series with her for an inexpressive character too. I'd have to see her in different roles for now it does not pass.
I really liked this drama! It's quick and easy to watch! It has all the ingredients you'd expect from a romantic drama. It's been a long time since we've seen Kim Woo Bin in this register!
The balance between the romantic love story between Ka-Young and her tempting genius, the comedy of certain situations (and secondary characters) and the dramatic moments is perfectly balanced. The moral about the humanity finally shown by the «psychopath» through constant effort in each of her choices, in the face of the cruelty of «normal» people who act without bothering to think, really touched me (the scene at the grandmother's funeral, for example). I found Bae Su-ji extremely touching in her role as a psychopath. I loved her tantrums and the way she always regains control of the situation despite her handicap, in an absolute refusal to inspire pity in anyone.
