Disney+ has finally unveiled the first images from « Made in Korea 2«, the long-awaited sequel to its original series released in December 2025. In addition to announcing a September premiere, the streaming service unveiled a new teaser and a poster that offer a first look at the sequel to this political thriller starring Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, and Woo Do-hwan.

This second season will continue the story 9 years after the events of the first chapter, promising an even more intense power struggle. As a reminder, Season 1 followed Baek Ki-tae, played by Hyun Bin, a man obsessed with power and wealth, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young, played by Jung Woo-sung, who is willing to sacrifice everything to stop him, all set against the backdrop of the upheavals of the 1970s.

Baek Ki-tae has reached the top… but the war has only just begun

At the end of the first season, Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin) had managed to rise to the highest echelons of power. Now a director, he seems more influential than ever, as shown in the new poster, where he is pictured sitting in a spacious official office.

In fact, the teaser opens with a line that perfectly sums up his rise to fame: «I’ve been waiting for this moment for a very long time.»

Still driven by boundless ambition, Baek Ki-tae now seems ready to go even further, convinced that each of his choices can change the course of history.

The teaser also introduces Baek Ki-hyunplayed by Woo Do-hwan, who took a completely different path from his brother's to rise to power.

With new alliances, political rivalries, military interventions, and spectacular action scenes, «Made in Korea 2» promises to ramp up the tension even further.
