Behind the four headliners, a whole entourage is bustling about. With five days to go before its release on Disney+, « The Remarried Empress » (translated as «The Remarried Empress» in French) introduces five supporting characters who will play a key role in the plot. A devoted lady-in-waiting, a talkative secretary, a meticulous baron, a schemer… and a man who knows Rashta’s best-kept secret.
Eliza, the Empress's Ally
Lee Bong-ryun plays Countess Eliza, the chief lady-in-waiting at the Western Palace. Calm and composed, she remains faithfully by Empress Navier’s side (Shin Min-ah) and watches over her amid the palace intrigues.
At times a mother figure and at times a big sister, she is one of the few people Navier can truly count on for support. Viewers of « Gift »They'll also see her again in December, in a completely different role.".
McKenna, the Prince's Conscience
Choi Dae-hoon plays the role of McKenna, Prince Heinrey's cousin and secretary (Lee Jong-suk). He is the only one who can lecture this free-spirited and unpredictable prince, and he is constantly worried about the prince’s misbehavior.
Since he is both her secretary and a member of her family, their close, informal relationship should add a real touch of humor to the series.
Lante, the emperor's secretary
Nam Yoon-ho plays Baron Lante, secretary to Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon). Meticulous and disciplined, he manages all imperial affairs, from the most important to the most trivial.

Albani, the Conspirator
Jung Young-joo plays Albani, a woman who adopts Rashta (Lee Se-young) in the hope of restoring her fallen family’s prestige and fortune. She also works tirelessly to isolate Empress Navier.
An alliance of convenience with Rashta, in which each pursues her own ambitions. This is sure to lead to intense tensions at court.
Lotteshu, the Man from the Past
Finally, Park Ho-san plays Viscount Lotteshu, Rashta’s former master. He is the only one who knows the past she is desperately trying to hide.
Just when she thought she had built a new life for herself, he resurfaced, threatening her relationship with the emperor. A veritable sword of Damocles hangs over the favorite.
