Dream to You tells the story of Woo Soo-bin, a brilliant director who is making a comeback after fulfilling his dream, and Ju Yi-jae, a journalist who has gradually drifted apart from her family. Their reunion sparks a romance that blends humor, emotion, and reflection on life choices.
Yi Jae (Hyeri), a journalist, was a daring teenager, full of dreams and hopes. But as she moved into her twenties, the trials of reality gradually shattered her illusions. In her thirties, she feels that her life is lacklustre.
For his part, director Soo Bin (Hwang In-yeop) grew up strictly following the path laid down by his parents. It was not until adulthood that he became emancipated, gradually discovering his own path, before realizing his ambitions in his thirties.
Secondary characters
But their story won’t be the only romance to watch. New stills now reveal the chemistry between Shim Yoo-geon (Baek Sung-chul) and Oh Ha-na (Lee Yul-eum), two characters who seem to be complete opposites.
Baek Sung-chul plays Shim Yoo-geon, a supporting actor who dreams of becoming the «Korean Takeshi Kaneshiro.» Despite the difficulties and rejections, he continues to believe that hard work always pays off in the end. Determined to succeed, he pursues his dream of becoming an actor while working part-time to support himself.
Opposite him, Lee Yul-eum plays Oh Ha-na, a famous actress who has been in the spotlight since she was a child. The daughter of a former Miss Korea turned actress, she has always lived in the entertainment world. Yet, behind her image as a self-assured star and her outspoken personality, Oh Ha-na dreams of discovering a different life, far from film sets and constant fame.

Audiences
The new romantic drama starring Hwang In-youp and Hyeri reached an average national audience of 2,8 % for its second episode.
Following an encouraging debut the day before, this slight increase confirms that the series is gradually beginning to find its audience.

I really loved it! Especially Yi Jae! She has such a strong personality—she made me laugh, feel sad, moved, and satisfied with her choices, especially at the end! I love her independence. They’ve both faced their share of challenges; their story is touching, yet they never lose their pride—I loved that. It feels pretty healthy and realistic. It resonated with me on a personal level, too, which is why I was particularly moved by her. I wasn’t familiar with Hyeri, but I really enjoyed her acting,
I loved the atmosphere in the film industry. The humor and chaos at the beginning, the drama, the romance, and THE END—yes, I’m one of the 0.0001% of % fans who loved the last two episodes. Her confession at the end of episode 11 🔥 100% on her side. Drama from start to finish 😊
I’ll admit, the one downside is that the ending felt rushed; some of the slower moments in the middle of the series could have been replaced with a finale that was more thoroughly developed earlier in the story. Or maybe 14 episodes. But other than that, I really liked it 😊
