Kim Min-seok (김민석) is a South Korean actor, singer, and TV host born on January 24, 1990, in Busan. He began his career in 2011 and gained widespread recognition for his role as Kim Gi-beom in Descendants of the Sun (2016). That same year, his performance in Doctor Crush earned him the Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actor.
After making his debut in several TV series, including Shut Up, Flower Boy Band, Who Are You: School 2015 and Imaginary Cat, he has gone on to play a series of notable roles in Innocent Defendant, Because This Is My First Life, Lovestruck in the City and Start-Up. At the same time, he appeared in the movie Moebius, A Special Lady, Monstrum and Noise.
In 2024, Kim Min-seok plays Yoo Gi-ho, a loyal ally of the hero in Mr. Plankton. That same year, he played the lead role of Lloyd in Blood Riding Love. In 2025, he returned to the lead role in Shark: The Storm (Season 2), in which he reprises the role of Cha U-sol, while also appearing in Typhoon Company as Tae-pung's best friend. He also makes a cameo appearance in the final episode of The Potato Lab.
In 2026, he continued his momentum with several projects. He played Im Yu-seong, Yu-jin's brother, in Love Doctor, followed by Baek Gwang-nam, Seo Ri's manager, in My Royal Nemesis. In 2027, he joined the cast of Human x Gumiho, in which he plays Beom I, a tiger from Inwang Mountain.
