“Human X Gumiho” tells the story of Gu Ja-hong, an alluring entity capable of bewitching humans, played by Jun Ji-hyun. She crosses paths with Choi Seok, a man who irresistibly attracts mythical creatures, played by Ji Chang-wook. Their fateful encounter gives rise to a relationship that blends romance, mystery, and supernatural elements.
Jun Ji-hyun returns to romantic comedy as Goo Ja-honga two-thousand-year-old gumiho (nine-tailed fox). An adored actress with irresistible charisma, her character drags behind her scandals and mysteries. Accustomed to manipulating humans with her powers, her life is turned upside down when she encounters Choi SeokShe's intrigued and bewildered. Intrigued and unsettled, she begins to feel both curiosity and a strange attachment to him.
Ji Chang-wook embodies Choi Seoka talented shaman and director of the Osung Museum. Beneath his light, casual exterior lies a man endowed with supernatural perception, capable of seeing the invisible forces of the world. His encounter with the gumiho, who unashamedly crosses the boundaries of his territory, gives rise to an unexpected fascination that will turn his life upside down.
