JTBC is already starting to plan for the coming months with a particularly diverse lineup. On September 4, the network shared a video showcasing several of its highly anticipated dramas set to air between late 2026 and 2027, with casts ranging from Ji Chang-wook and Jun Ji-hyun à Ahn Bo-hyun, Kim Hee-ae and Ahn Hyo-seop.
On the agenda: a cooking competition, a historical epic, a suspenseful romance, and a fantasy romantic comedy. Four projects were highlighted in this first preview.
From the Kitchen to the Battlefield in the Goryeo Dynasty
The first drama to be featured is " Final Table " (literal title), starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Hong Hwa-yeon, Chang Ryul and Jung Yoo-jin.
The story will follow several talented Korean chefs from around the world who have come to participate in «The Table: K-Chef 2026», a high-pressure cooking competition to determine the best Korean chef.
JTBC will then take a completely different direction with " God's Beads " (also titled «Sacred Jewels»), a historical drama described as a military action romance.
Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Claudia Kim and Ha Yoon-kyung will be plunged into in 1258, as the Thirty-Year War between Goryeo and the Mongol Empire approaches its climax.
The story will follow a team searching for the kingdom's sacred relics, while a princess sets out on her own to save the members of that expedition. The drama is expected to blend battle, adventure, loyalty, and romance.

Another, very different project: " Gold Digger ", a Korean remake of the British series of the same name.
Kim Hee-ae he will play the role of Min Young-joo, the director of a publishing house with a brilliant career, whose life is turned upside down by the arrival of a much younger man.
The latter, Jung Jae-hee, will be performed by Noh Sang-hyun. A freelance designer, he grows close to her, sparking a relationship filled with emotion—but also a nagging doubt: Are his feelings genuine, or is he hiding something?
Finally, one of the most anticipated projects in this lineup is undoubtedly " Human X Gumiho " (literal title), which will star Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook.
The drama will be a fantasy romantic comedy centered on Gu Ja-hong, a gumiho who is also a leading actress, and Choi Seok, a particularly gifted shaman who runs the Osung Museum.
The concept is based on an amusing contrast: she has the power to seduce humans, while he irresistibly attracts supernatural creatures. Their encounter should therefore spark as much attraction as it does chaos.
JTBC's promotional video offers only a glimpse of these four projects for now, without providing a specific timeline for any of them.
