Ahn Bo-hyun (안보현) is a South Korean actor and model born on May 16, 1988, in Busan. Before turning to acting, he attended Busan Sports High School and competed in amateur boxing, a sport in which he won a gold medal.
He began his career as a model before making his acting debut in 2014. He then appeared in several dramas, including Descendants of the Sun, My Runway and Wednesday, 3:30 p.m.. In 2018, he played one of the leading roles in Dokgo Rewind, and then gained more attention in Her Private Life the following year.
His career took a major turn in 2020 thanks to Itaewon Class, in which he plays Jang Geun-won. This role brought him widespread recognition and a nomination for Best New Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards. He went on to star in Kairos, and then went on to play leading roles in My Name, Yumi's Cells and Military Prosecutor Doberman.
In 2023, he played Moon Seo-ha in See You in My 19th Life, before taking on the role of Jin I-soo in Flex X Cop in 2024. He reprises the role in Flex X Cop Season 2 in 2026 and also appears in Spring Fever as well as The Sacred Jewel.
Ahn Bo-hyun is also set to appear in Haesi's Shinru. Since April 2025, he has been represented by AM Entertainment. Her journey—from modeling and boxing to leading roles in several popular K-dramas—illustrates a career marked by constant evolution.
