After several months of waiting, « Flex x Cop 2 » is finally set to return to SBS. The network has unveiled the first images from the script reading for this new season, while also confirming its air date.
The series will return Ahn Bo-hyun playing the role of Jin Yi-soo, the heir to a wealthy family who uses his money and connections as valuable assets in his investigations. Alongside him, Jung Eun-chae joins the cast as Joo Hye-ra, the new chief of the violent crimes unit at the Kangha Police Station.
Also present at this first meeting were director Kim Jae-hong, screenwriter Kim Bada, as well as Kang Sang-jun, Kim Shin-bi, Jung Ga-hee, and Kim Myung-soo.
Ahn Bo-hyun is happy to be back with the team
Before the script reading began, director Kim Jae-hong expressed his excitement at seeing the series return for a second season. «It’s deeply moving and meaningful that «Flex x Cop 2» is currently in production.»
For his part, Ahn Bo-hyun made no secret of his joy at returning to the world of the series. «I missed the set of «Flex x Cop.» I’ll do my best to create a pleasant atmosphere so that the new actors can also feel that chemistry.»
In this new season, Jin Yi-soo appears more experienced after completing his police training. Now a full-fledged investigator, he will have to work alongside Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae), a new superior with a strong personality and remarkable charisma.
A Stronger Team for Season 2
The actors who appeared in the first season will also be reprising their roles. Kang Sang-jun, Kim Shin-bi, Jung Ga-hee, and Kim Myung-soo will once again form the police station team, with a dynamic that promises to be even stronger.
In fact, the production team believes that the mix of familiar faces and newcomers clicked right from the very first meeting.
