Biography

Lee Joo-bin (이주빈; 李珠彬) is a South Korean actress born on September 18, 1989, in Gangneung. Before pursuing a career in acting, she trained at DSP Media with the goal of becoming a singer and nearly debuted as a member of the group Rainbow. She ultimately chose to abandon that path in favor of acting, making her debut through appearances in music videos, commercials, and several supporting roles on television.

She's starting to attract attention with Be Melodramatic (2019), before going on to play a series of roles in Hello, Dracula, Find Me in Your Memory, She Would Never Know and Doctor Lawyer. In 2022, she gained international recognition for her portrayal of Yoon Mi-seon, also known as Stockholm, in the Korean version of Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, available on Netflix.

His career reached a new milestone in 2024 with The Queen of Tears, where her portrayal of Cheon Da-hye was praised by audiences. The following year, she landed her first leading role in the romantic comedy Divorce Insurance (Divorce with Confidence), then joined the fantasy series Twelve in the role of Mi-reu, inspired by the Eastern zodiac dragon.

In 2026, Lee Joo-bin cemented her rise to stardom by playing the lead role in Spring Fever (Spring Fever), an adaptation of an online novel, in which she plays Yoon Bom, a schoolteacher who has come to start over far from Seoul. She was then announced as the lead in the action series Guardians, currently in the works.

Thanks to her elegance, versatility, and steady growth, Lee Joo-bin has now established herself as one of the most beloved rising stars in the South Korean TV drama industry.
