The Story

After three years of marriage, Baek Hyeon-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) seem to have reached the end of their story. He is a brilliant lawyer from a modest family in Yongdu-ri; she is the heiress to the powerful Queens Group and runs one of its department stores.

Behind the image of the perfect couple, however, their relationship has gradually deteriorated, to the point where Hyeon-woo is considering ending their marriage. But a shocking piece of news suddenly changes all their priorities. Forced to face together a trial they had never imagined, the couple gradually rediscovers the feelings that had once brought them together. Their attempt to save their marriage becomes even more complicated with the arrival of Yoon Eun-seong (Park Sung-hoon), an ambitious man with close ties to Hae-in's family.

Amid family conflicts, financial rivalries, secrets, and emotional wounds, Hyeon-woo and Hae-in will have to figure out whether their love can truly survive everything that threatens to tear them apart.
