«The Boss’s Explicit Taste» will tell the story of Kwon Do-hyuk, a wealthy heir who has it all. An expert in artificial intelligence, he trusts data more than he trusts people.
Described as a man incapable of trusting others, showing interest in them, or feeling empathy, he leads a particularly cold and rational life. His life is turned upside down when he sets out to find the mysterious woman featured on the cover of an indie album. This quest leads him to meet Lee Eun-chae, the lead singer of an indie band, sparking an unexpected romance.
Sung Hoon has reportedly been offered the role of Kwon Do-hyuk.
The drama will be directed by Kang Sol, known for «Delivery Man» and «My Lovely Journey,» while the screenplay will be written by Nam Ji-yeon, who notably wrote «Bitter Sweet Hell.».
The network has not yet been announced, but the production team hopes to begin filming the series before the end of the year.
