Sung Hoon (성훈), born Bang In-kyu on February 14, 1983, in Daegu, is a South Korean actor and model. Before turning to acting, he swam for fourteen years and specialized in the butterfly stroke at Yong In University. However, a spinal injury brought his athletic career to an end.
He began his acting career in 2011 with New Tales of Gisaeng, in which he plays Ah Da-mo. This leading role earned him the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards. He went on to star in Faith, The Birth of a Family and Passionate Love, and then gained greater recognition thanks to Noble, My Love and Oh My Venus.
In 2016, he played Kim Sang-min in Five Enough, before landing the lead role played by Cha Jin-wook in My Secret Romance in 2017. He then went on to The [email protected], I Picked Up a Star Along the Way and the two seasons of The Sound of Your Heart: Reboot.
Sung Hoon continues his career with Level Up, Woori the Virgin and the two seasons of Love, Marriage, and Divorce. In 2023 and 2024, he appeared in Death's Game as Song Jae-seop and plays the lead role of Seo Do-guk in Perfect Marriage Revenge.
In 2026, he starred in Honey, Guess Who's the REAL BOSS and What a Boss Wants, before being announced in Heart Is Beating.
In addition to his acting career, Sung Hoon is also active in variety shows and as a DJ under the name ROI.
