Won Jin-ah (Won Jin-ah) is a South Korean actress born on March 29, 1991, in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
Before making a living from her craft, she held several part-time jobs while auditioning. With no real theater experience, she began with small film roles, notably in Now Playing in 2014 and The Chosen: Forbidden Cave in 2015. That same year, she landed her first leading role in a short film A Game of Catch.
After appearing in No Tomorrow, The Age of Shadows and Steel Rain, she came to the attention of the general public in 2017 thanks to her first major television role, Ha Moon-soo in Just Between Lovers. Her performance earned her the Best New Actress award at the 2018 APAN Star Awards, as well as several nominations.
She then went on to play a series of leading roles in Life in 2018, Melting Me Softly in 2019 and She Would Never Know in 2021. That same year, she switched gears with the fantasy series Hellbound, in which she plays Song So-hyeon. In 2022, she plays Shin Sae-byeok, nicknamed Ashley, in Unicorn.
Won Jin-ah is also continuing her film career with Money and Long Live the King in 2019, and then On the Line in 2021. She also made her stage debut that year in Hometown Spring.
After a quieter period on television, she returned in 2025 in The Defects, in which she plays the lead role of Kim A-hyeon. In 2026, she went on to star in The Judge Returns, in which she plays Kim Jin-a.
