Born on July 26, 1989, in Gangneung, Jeon Yeo-been is one of the most distinctive actresses in South Korean cinema and K-dramas. Spotted by actress-director Moon So-ri, she made her debut in short films and independent productions before gaining recognition through After My Death (2018). Her dark and visceral performance earned her several awards for best new actress and immediately established her reputation as a demanding actress.
After the cult thriller Save Me, she reveals a warmer side in Be Melodramatic. International recognition came in 2021 with Vincenzo : Her explosive portrayal of lawyer Hong Cha-young, opposite Song Joong-ki, turned the character into a K-drama icon.
