Gong Min-jung (Gong Min-jeong), born on September 30, 1986, in Seoul, is a South Korean actress. A graduate of the Film Department at Konkuk University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in film arts, she began her acting career in 2011. She gradually gained recognition in independent cinema, notably through her collaborations with director Hong Sang-soo in Yourself and Yours (2016), On the Beach at Night Alone (2017) and Grass (2018).
At the same time, she was building her career in television. After several supporting roles, she appeared notably in Fight for My Way, My Golden Life and Temperature of Love in 2017, and then played Choi Hye-jeong in Familiar Wife (2018). In 2020, she starred in My Holo Love, Sweet Munchies and plays one of the leading roles in Please Don't Date Him. That same year, her performance in the film Zombie Crush: Heyri earned him a special mention for acting at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Its popularity surged in 2021 with Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, in which she plays Pyo Mi-seon, the heroine's best friend. She goes on to star in Little Women and One Dollar Lawyer in 2022, then Daily Dose of Sunshine and My Man Is Cupid in 2023. In 2024, she stood out in Marry My Husband in the role of Yang Ju-ran, before taking on one of the leading roles in Sorry Not Sorry.
In 2025, she appears in Our Movie and You and Everything Else. In 2026, she joined Boyfriend on Demand and makes an appearance in Reborn Rookie.
In her personal life, Gong Min-jeung married actor Jang Jae-ho in September 2024. The couple welcomed a daughter on January 2, 2025.
