Lee Seol (이설), whose real name is Kang Min-jung (강민정), is a South Korean actress born on April 13, 1993, in Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province. She attended Sungshin Women's University before embarking on an acting career.
She made her debut in 2018 and appeared in a movie that same year in Herstory, I Have a Date with Spring and the short film A Room of One’s Own. On television, she stars in After the Rain, but it is above all his role as Eun Sun-jae in the thriller Less Than Evil which brought her to the attention of the general public. Her performance earned her the Best New Actress award at the MBC Drama Awards, as well as a nomination at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
In 2019, she continued with When the Devil Calls Your Name, before appearing in Amanza in 2020. She then diversified her roles with One Ordinary Day and the military series D.P., in which she plays Shin Hye-yeon. After appearing in the first season, her character takes on a more prominent role in the second.
In 2023, Lee Seol plays the lead role of Han Seong-ok in the romance Between Him and Her. It returns in 2025 with Our Movie, in which she plays Chae Seo-young.
The year 2026 is a particularly busy one for the actress. She makes a special appearance in Doctor on the Edge, playing Lee Hwa-yeong, Ji-ui's former love interest. She is also joining the second season of Bloodhounds in a cameo role and plays the lead role of Ko Se-yun in The Completion of Marriage. It is also announced in Goldland as well as in Happy Boy.
In addition to television and film, Lee Seol has also turned her attention to the theater, notably playing Desdemona in a production of’Othello in 2023.
