Son Ye-jin (손예진; 孫藝珍), born Son Eon-jin (손언진) Born on January 11, 1982, she is a South Korean actress considered one of the most talented and respected of her generation. She rose to prominence in the early 2000s and quickly established herself as the «queen of melodramas» thanks to her natural elegance and nuanced acting.

His career took off with the films The Classic (2003) and A Moment to Remember (2004), which have become classics of Korean romantic cinema, as well as the drama Summer Scent. Refusing to limit herself to a single genre, she went on to play a variety of roles in Alone in Love, Personal Taste, My Wife Got Married, The Pirates, The Truth Beneath, The Last Princess, Be with You and The Negotiation. His performances have earned him numerous awards, including several Blue Dragon Film Awards, Baeksang Arts Awards, and Grand Bell Awards.

In 2018, she returned to television with Something in the Rain, before achieving immense worldwide success thanks to Crash Landing on You (2019–2020), where her portrayal of Yoon Se-ri alongside Hyun Bin helped popularize K-dramas internationally. She then returned in Thirty-Nine (2022), playing a dermatologist in her late thirties.

After taking a break to focus on her family life, Son Ye-jin is making her return to the big screen in No Other Choice by Park Chan-wook in 2025. She then continued her career with the series Scandal in 2026 and Variety, currently in the works.

Married to actor Hyun Bin since 2022 and the mother of a son, Son Ye-jin remains a leading figure in Korean film and television. Her immense popularity, longevity, and outstanding body of work make her one of the greatest actresses in the history of South Korean entertainment.
