Nana (Nana), whose real name is Im Jin-ah (임진아), is a South Korean actress, singer, and model born on September 14, 1991, in Cheongju. She made her debut in the music industry in 2009 by joining the girl group After School, and in 2010 she joined its sub-unit, Orange Caramel. She gradually shifted her focus to acting and has built an increasingly prominent career in K-dramas.
After a few leading roles, she made a name for herself in The Good Wife in 2016, in which she played the investigator Kim Dan. She then took center stage with Kill It in 2019, playing the role of Detective Do Hyun-jin, and then Justice, in which she plays District Attorney Seo Yeon-ah.
In 2020, Nana played the lead role of Goo Se-ra in Memorials (Into the Ring), a political comedy in which her character enters public life. She goes on to star in Oh! Master in 2021, then takes a sharp turn in Glitch in 2022, playing the role of Heo Bo-ra.
The year 2023 has cemented her status as one of the most popular actresses on streaming platforms. In Mask Girl, she plays one of the incarnations of Kim Mo-mi, the central character in a dark thriller about identity, appearance, and fame. She also plays Oh Baek-ryeon in the fantasy romance My Man Is Cupid.
After an appearance in The Player 2: Master of Swindlers In 2024, she'll be back in 2026 with two major projects. In Climax, she plays the lead role of Hwang Jeong-won, and she also stars in Scandal, in which she plays Hui-yeon.
