My Teresa

«Ma Teresa» is a drama centered on power struggles involving a university and private educational foundations. The drama will follow several characters who are willing to do anything to reclaim a university that once belonged to their mother before it was taken from them.

The plot is set to mix family rivalries, corruption and academic power struggles.

At the heart of «Materesa,» you’ll find Ma Teresa (Nana), a professor and criminal psychologist with a particularly cold demeanor who investigates unsolved murder cases that have captured the public’s attention.

Far from simply studying criminals from a distance, Teresa personally confronts and interrogates them while following up on the various leads in each investigation. Behind this intense persona, however, lies a woman still haunted by a trauma from her past. As she gets closer to a truth she has long sought, her certainties will begin to waver, giving way to emotions she hadn’t anticipated.

Kim Dan will play Park Seol, Teresa’s longtime assistant. Behind his innocent appearance and smile, however, lies a secret, while his true emotions remain carefully concealed.

Park Seol participates in the investigations in the hope of catching Teresa's attention, but his behavior doesn't go unnoticed by Yoo A-ram (Jung Gun-joo). A prosecutor and longtime friend of Teresa's, he helps her with her investigations while keeping a wary eye on the mysterious assistant who is constantly by her side.

Students, professors and university staff see him as a popular and endearing figure, with a smile that leaves no one indifferent.
