After introducing its heroine in the first images, « Dive Into You »is kicking it into high gear with its first teaser and main poster.". Kim Ji-yeon, Park Seo-ham and Jang Se-hyuk find themselves back in their high school years, but behind the bright images of their youth lies a much more painful mission: to prevent a death that has already occurred in the present.
This fantasy romance will follow Yoon Ha-na (Kim Ji-yeon), a famous actress who travels back in time after the disappearance of her first love, Jung Woo-jae (Park Seo-ham). It’s an adventure in which her twin brother, Yoon Ha-ru (Jang Se-hyuk), will also find himself caught up.
A return to «the brightest moment» of their lives
The teaser opens with a promise from Jung Woo-jae, Ha-na’s bodyguard and her first love since high school: «I’ll protect you.» « Memories of their time together then flash by, before the promise shifts to the other side. This time, it’s Ha-na who declares with determination: »I swear I’ll protect you.”
In the present, Woo-jae is, in fact, doomed to die. But an old camcorder offers Ha-na a chance that is as unlikely as it is precious: to return to a time when he is still alive.
The teaser shows Ha-na grabbing the hand of her twin brother, Yoon Ha-ru, before jumping off a diving board with him. The two sink beneath the water and suddenly find themselves transported back to their high school years.
«Back to the brightest moment of life», ", the teaser announces, as the trio revisits a time when their relationship was still filled with carefree moments, dreams, and shared experiences.
The main poster captures the same atmosphere by bringing together Ha-na, Woo-jae, and Ha-ru in a luminous image that highlights the special bond uniting the three characters across past and present.
A swap of souls that seriously complicates the mission
But going back in time is only the beginning of their problems.
Upon their arrival, Ha-na and Ha-ru discover that their souls have been swapped. Kim Ji-yeon and Jang Se-hyuk will therefore also have to play their respective characters when they find themselves trapped in each other’s bodies.
The teaser plays up this situation in a much more comedic way. Ha-na, now in her brother’s body, is particularly thrown off balance when she sees a man’s naked body or when she finds herself physically very close to Woo-jae.
Ha-ru, on the other hand, seems to be coming to terms with her sister's body much more easily and is enthusiastically embracing this new reality.
Behind these amusing situations, however, lies the central issue: Ha-na knows the tragic fate that awaits Woo-jae. This time, the woman who once heard her first love promise to protect her is determined to reverse the roles and prevent his death.
It remains to be seen whether changing the past will truly save Woo-jae… and what consequences this second chance will have for the three friends.
