Ten years together, and a pact as risky as it is unexpected: to date someone else for a month. In the next episode of « A Love Other Than Yours », Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin) and Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang-jun) take the plunge. Each on their own, they go on a first date that could very well turn everything upside down.

A Couple of Ten Years Facing the Daily Grind
KBS 2TV’s new romance drama tackles a subject rarely addressed head-on in K-dramas: the wear and tear of a long-term relationship. Lee Mi-do and Namgoong Ho have been together for ten years. It’s a comfortable, familiar relationship, but one that is no longer free from doubts.
The duo brings together two faces well known to fans of the genre: Ahn Eun-jin, who made a name for herself in «Hospital Playlist,» and Seo Kang-jun, who rose to fame in «Cheese in the Trap.» To shake up their daily lives, the two lovers made a surprising decision in the previous episode: to each set out to meet «the other,» for just one month.
Mi-do and Tae-seung: A Rule Set in Advance
As for Mi-do, her chosen one is Han Tae-seung, played by Lee Joo-ahn. She proposed this one-month relationship to him with disarming candor: even though he makes her heart race, if she had to save just one man, it would be Namgoong Ho, without the slightest hesitation.
New footage from their first real date shows two contrasting attitudes. Mi-do remains reserved. Tae-seung, on the other hand, flashes a relaxed smile that gradually turns into a confident grin. He fully intends to use this month to change her mind, and warns her bluntly: once she’s with him, she won’t be able to go back to her boyfriend.
The two actors shared some insights into their characters. According to Lee Joo-ahn, Mi-do burst into Tae-seung’s life like a wave that swept away all the defenses he had built around his heart. Ahn Eun-jin explains that Mi-do, a film enthusiast, is considering giving up her passion so that this love won’t fade, and that Tae-seung awakens feelings in her that she had refused to admit.
Namgoong Ho and Soo-ah: A Connection from the Past
Meanwhile, Namgoong Ho is also trying out the experiment with Park Soo-ah, played by Jo A-ram. The two work together and are used to bickering. But their history goes back further: they had already crossed paths on Haema Island, where Namgoong Ho had once comforted her.
He was the one who made the first move, timidly asking her if he could get to know her better. In the photos from their first date, the usual banter between coworkers gives way to more ambiguous glances. A sign that, on that front too, things might go further than expected.
It remains to be seen whether this one-month pact will save the couple… or tear them apart.
