Ahn Eun-jin (안은진) is a South Korean actress born on May 6, 1991, in Seoul. Trained in theater and having worked in musicals since 2012, she gradually made a name for herself on television through memorable supporting roles before moving on to leading roles.
After Life In 2018, she went on to star in several very different dramas in 2019, including The Crowned Clown, Kingdom, Possessed, My Fellow Citizens! and above all Strangers from Hell. In this psychological thriller, she plays police officer So Jeong-hwa, a role that has drawn particular attention. She goes on to Diary of a Prosecutor, and then gains even more visibility thanks to Hospital Playlist in 2020 and 2021. Her character, Chu Min-ha—an obstetrician with a frank and warm personality—became one of her most beloved roles. She reprised the role in 2025 in Resident Playbook.
Ahn Eun-jin went on to land leading roles in More Than Friends then The One and Only, in which she plays Pyo In-sook. The year 2023 marks a real turning point. In The Good Bad Mother, she plays Lee Mi-joo, the hero's ex-girlfriend and mother of twins. She is best known for her success in the romantic sageuk My Dearest, in which she plays Yoo Gil-chae, a young woman whose personality and fate undergo profound changes against the backdrop of war. The two-part drama significantly solidified her status as a leading actress.
In 2024, she stars in the apocalyptic thriller Goodbye Earth as Jin Se-kyung, a teacher faced with the news that an asteroid is about to collide with Earth.
She will continue to take on leading roles in 2025 with the fantasy romance Genie, Make a Wish, in which she plays Lee Mi-joo, and then Dynamite Kiss in the role of Ko Da-rim. In 2026, she was announced as the lead in A Love Other Than Yours, confirming her enduring status as one of the leading actresses in South Korean dramas.
