The story begins with Goo Young-jina powerful six-term member of parliament, who took his own life in 2008. But instead of disappearing, his spirit awakens ten years earlier, in 1998. In his ghostly form, he meets Cha Jae-rima low-ranking civil servant with the ability to see spirits. Together, they join forces to shake up the political scene and wage a spectacular battle against the living version of Goo Young-jin.
The drama will follow Goo Young-jin, a veteran MP nicknamed “the master of politics”, who returns to the past as a ghost after his death in connection with a corruption scandal. Played by Kim Yoon-seok, the character is described as a man who has spent his entire life regarding politics as a game of strategy and calculation rather than a matter of conviction.
Once an influential figure in power, he will now try to change his destiny by joining forces with Cha Jae-rim.
Kim Seon-ho will play Cha Jae-rim, a level 9 civil servant and complete stranger to the world of politics. With no particular ambitions, living simply from day to day, his life is turned upside down when he crosses paths with the mysterious ghost MP Goo Young-jin.
The drama promises an original blend of humor, politics, fantasy and the unlikely relationship between 2 characters with opposing visions.
