Lee Je-hoon (이제훈) is a South Korean actor born on July 4, 1984, in Seoul. He began his career in the mid-2000s by appearing in several independent short and feature films before gaining widespread recognition in the early 2010s.
In 2010, he really stood out in Bleak Night, where his performance earned him several Best New Actor awards, including at the Grand Bell Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards. The following year, he cemented his rise to stardom with the war film The Front Line. In 2012, his popularity grew even further thanks to the melodrama Architecture 101, in which he plays the younger version of the main character. He then went on to appear in films such as My Paparotti, Phantom Detective, Anarchist from Colony, I Can Speak, Time to Hunt, Collectors and Escape.
On television, Lee Je-hoon lands his first major role in Fashion King in 2012, and then played Crown Prince Sado in Secret Door in 2014. However, he achieved one of his greatest successes in 2016 with the fantasy crime thriller Signal, in which he plays the role of profiler Park Hae-young.
He then went on to play leading roles in Tomorrow With You in 2017 and Where Stars Land in 2018. In 2021, he played Cho Sang-gu in the Netflix series Move to Heaven, and then becomes Kim Do-gi, a taxi driver working for a secret revenge organization, in Taxi Driver. The series' success led to several seasons, with Taxi Driver 2 in 2023, and then Taxi Driver 3 in 2025.
In 2024, he plays the role of Park Yeong-han in Chief Detective 1958. The following year, he played Yun Ju-no, a mergers and acquisitions specialist, in The Art of Negotiation. He is also set to reprise his role as Park Hae-young in The Second Signal, continued from Signal whose release has finally been confirmed for 2026, and is announced in The Long Shot Trial for 2027.
Lee Je-hoon also stepped behind the camera to direct a segment of the film project Unframed in 2021.
