An executive who swears by the rules, a soft-hearted intern, and a director with laid-back charm: the first teaser for « Nine to Six »lays the groundwork for an office rom-com that could very well turn into a love triangle.". SBS unveils the video less than a month before it airs, and confirms the show's time slot: Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
A «very demanding» executive»
The teaser first takes us into the daily life of Kang Yi-ji (Park Min-young), assistant manager of the legal department at Chronic Motors. Efficient, precise, uncompromising: her colleagues describe her as «very demanding.» Unfazed, she replies that she will handle things by the book.
A highly accomplished professional who has long put her love life on hold.
The Intern Who Makes the Manager Smile
It is into this well-ordered daily routine that Han Seon-woo arrives (Yook Sungjae), a young colleague with a warm personality. And he makes no secret of his interest.
He offers her some bread to get her attention, then surprises her by asking if she knows her eyes are shining. This remark manages to coax a smile out of the usually very serious Kang Yi-ji. Even bolder still, he promises to stay right by her side.
The teaser ends with a simple yet intimate scene: Han Seon-woo holds the elevator door open, and Kang Yi-ji greets him with a «hello.» It’s enough to ramp up the tension between them. A notable development, after their first failed encounter right there on the street.
Go Soo, the Unexpected Rival
But the romance might not be that simple. Park Hyun-tae (Go Soo), the high-flying executive who has just joined Chronic Motors, steps into the story. With laid-back confidence, he offers to drive Kang Yi-ji, simply inviting her to get into his car.
A twist that really adds a surprise to the plot. On one hand, the charming younger intern, and on the other, the a brilliant and self-assured leader of the other : Kang Yi-ji may well be faced with a choice.
«Nine to Six» will air starting Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. (Korean time)—which is 1:00 p.m. in France—on SBS, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and will then be available on Prime Video.
