A suspect who pays tribute to the woman he is accused of killing: that’s the mystery at the heart of Episode 3 of « Love in Disguise ». The new images unveiled by tvN show Yoon Yi-jun in a columbarium, standing in front of his late secretary’s urn. It’s a scene that leaves Kang Jae-hee, the undercover investigator, more perplexed than ever.

A Murder in His Office
As a reminder, the heir to the Taegang Group, played by Yim Si-wan, found himself at the center of a murder case. After an argument with his secretary, Han Eun-young (Jung Yoo-min), she was found dead in his office. He immediately became the prime suspect.
It is to uncover the truth that Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former member of the special forces, has disguised as a man in order to become his personal secretary.
A suspect who is far too calm
From the very beginning, Yoon Yi-jun has been baffling. During his interrogation, he didn’t show the slightest sign of nervousness. Faced with a persistent investigator, he even went so far as to ask him if he really thought he was capable of killing her.
Even more troubling, he asked Kang Jae-hee a strange question: had she ever killed anyone? It’s impossible to know what he’s really thinking, or whether he already suspects his new secretary’s true identity.
A tribute that sows doubt in Episode 3
In Episode 3, he takes the mystery even further. New footage shows him at the columbarium where Han Eun-young’s ashes rest. With a stoic expression, he stands before her urn and takes a moment to pay his respects.
To Kang Jae-hee, the act is incomprehensible. Given her experience as an investigator, she cannot explain why a murderer would come to pay his respects to his victim.
There are two possible interpretations. Either this moment of reflection is sincere, in which case it strengthens the case for his innocence, or it stems from the unfathomable psychology of a suspect who is playing a game whose rules are known only to him.
A sleepless night… and a forbidden room
Episode 3 also features a much lighter scene, one that could nevertheless move the investigation forward. While searching her boss’s house, Kang Jae-hee discovered that a room at the very end of the second-floor hallway was strictly off-limits. This convinced her that clues to the murder might be hidden there.
The chance to search it will arise unexpectedly. Suffering from insomnia, Yoon Yi-jun orders his new secretary to stay by his side until he falls asleep. Far from being discouraged by this unexpected overtime, Kang Jae-hee sees it as an opportunity: to lull him to sleep, then take advantage of his slumber to explore the forbidden room.
The new images show her standing guard at the foot of the bed, where Yoon Yi-jun is relaxing with his cat Jerry in his arms. He seems perfectly calm; she, on the other hand, is visibly unsettled. Later, she sits down next to him while he reads, watching for the slightest sign that he’s dozing off. It remains to be seen whether her plan will work… and what she’ll find behind the door.
Episode 3 of «Love in Disguise» will air this Monday, October 26, at 8:50 p.m. (Korean time)—which is 12:50 p.m. in France—on tvN and internationally on Prime Video.
